FOREVER - Cinematic Reel
Project Summary:
A reel about not just friendship, but the true meaning of being bound together through the best and worst. A dragonrider plays with his dragon, cutting between different moments from the same camera angle, before ultimately cutting to the death of both.
My Work
I organised and produced the shoot at the Cliffs of Dover, securing permission to film through the National Trust and managing a five-person crew within strict location restrictions.
I coordinated transportation, accommodation, weather and sea conditions, as well as access and safety procedures for the challenging route to the beach. The Art Director and DOP also sourced the armour and costume for the production. With limited time available to shoot, I planned the production to work efficiently while also directing the actor and their interactions with the digitally created dragon.
Post-Production
I handled the editing, colour grading, and VFX, including animating the dragon, rotoscoping the knight(regreting not using green screen XD), Photoshop to remove background ships, and adding my own fleet on fire.Compositing everythingl together and gradingi with distinctive looks toshow differentt times.
